Beres Hammond, Maxi Priest, Alison Hinds & Etana @ Wolf Creek

This past Sunday evening at Wolf Creek Amphitheater was a night to remember.  Four Season Party Cruise put together an outstanding lineup for the One Love Music Tour. It was a beautiful day for a concert with no rain finally after a long summer of torrential downpour. I am such a huge fan of the West Indian culture and I was not disappointed at all. The gates opened at 3PM and people poured in droves filling the place to capacity to see Etana, Alison Hinds, Maxi Priest, and Beres Hammond. The culture was well represented by the people and even the vendors. The food was fantastic as concert goers were able to partake in fresh coconuts being machete cut,  Jerk chicken, brown stew chicken, peppered shrimp, and Jamaican patties were just a few of the food made available by the vendors.

Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta reality star DJ Baby Drew served as the master of ceremony for the evening and it got off to a great start with the beautiful Etana. I was definitely captivated by her sultry and melodic voice, and she definitely set the tone for the evening. The ‘Queen of Soca’ Alison Hinds was up next and she immediately seized control of the crowd with her high powered set that was full of energy and life. My favorite moment of her show was when Alison brought a gentleman on stage to dance with her.  Alison definitely showed us that she was ‘Born Wit It’.

Maxi Priest came on shortly thereafter, and he performed an amazing set. At one point he walked through the crowd performing taking the show directly to the people. He performed hit after hit opening with Wild World, and closing with his signature hit Close To You.

Fans were in for a treat with the headliner Beres Hammond. Superstar actor Leon graced the stage with Hammond’s band opening with song before introducing Beres to a thunderous applause from concert goers. The wait was finally over, and Beres definitely lived up to the hype. Fans were on their feet throughout his entire performance singing along with the smooth and soulful crooner. Mic Check Media would like to extend gratitude and kudos to Four Season Party Cruises and Midnite Productions for orchestrating one of the best concerts of the summer!
